Bessie Cheng is a Chinese-Canadian actor and writer based in Toronto.

A lover of many things: A good story. Food with bold flavours. Her two ginger cats.

Her acting work has been featured on networks such as CBS, CBC, CW, HBO Max independently at film festivals, and on Youtube with over 9 million views.

She was a winner of the Ellen Ross Stuart Award from the Ontario Arts Foundation for her writing, and was shortlisted for the RBC Emerging Playwright's Award at Playwright's Guild of Canada.

Bessie is a member of Silk Bath Collective, a theatre trio between herself, Aaron Jan and Gloria Mok. 'Cause writing solo gets lonely sometimes!
